Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets out what you may and may not do on the Halcera platform (the "Platform"). It is incorporated into our Terms of Service. We may update it as needed to keep the Platform safe and lawful.

1. General rule

Use the Platform only for lawful purposes, only for digital properties you own or are authorized to manage, and only in a way that respects others' rights, third-party platform rules, and applicable law.

2. Properties you may submit

You may connect and submit for enhancement only properties that:

a. you own or are expressly authorized to manage; and

b. comply with applicable law and the rules of the platform on which they exist.

You may not submit properties belonging to third parties without authorization, or use the Platform to act against a property you do not control.

3. Prohibited uses

You may not use the Platform to:

a. break the law, or facilitate any illegal activity;

b. infringe intellectual-property, privacy, or other rights of others;

c. submit or promote content that is fraudulent, deceptive, defamatory, harassing, hateful, sexually exploitative of minors, or that incites violence;

d. distribute malware, run phishing, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to any system, account, or data;

e. interfere with, overload, or disrupt the Platform or its infrastructure, or attempt to probe, scan, or test its vulnerabilities without authorization;

f. reverse engineer, decompile, scrape, or copy the Platform except as permitted by law;

g. resell, sublicense, or provide access to the Platform to third parties without our written consent;

h. misrepresent your identity, impersonate others, or provide false information during onboarding;

i. use the Platform to launder money, evade sanctions, test stolen payment instruments, or commit payment fraud; or

j. circumvent access controls, usage limits, the manual onboarding process, or any technical or contractual restriction.

4. Enhancement-specific rules

Enhancements are intended to improve the measurable performance of properties you legitimately operate. You may not use enhancements to:

a. deceive a third-party platform's systems in violation of that platform's terms;

b. target properties, accounts, or content you do not control; or

c. pursue any outcome that is unlawful or that you know to be prohibited by the relevant platform.

You are responsible for ensuring your use of any enhancement complies with the rules of the platform the property lives on.

5. Fair use of resources

Automated access, bulk operations, or usage that materially exceeds normal individual use may be rate-limited or require a specific plan or unlock. Do not attempt to evade these limits.

6. Enforcement

We may investigate suspected violations and take any action we consider appropriate, including removing content, restricting features, suspending or terminating access, reversing transactions, withholding refunds for offending purchases, preserving evidence, and reporting to authorities where required. Serious or repeated violations may result in permanent termination without refund.

7. Reporting

To report misuse or a security concern, contact support@halcera.com.

8. Changes

We may update this AUP and will post the updated version with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
