Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Halcyon One LLC, doing business as Halcera ("Halcera," "we," "us"), collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when you use halcera.com and the Halcera platform (the "Platform"). It applies to applicants, approved users, and visitors.
1. Who we are
The data controller is Halcyon One LLC, a Wyoming, United States limited liability company. Contact: support@halcera.com.
2. Information we collect
2.1 Information you provide
Access application and onboarding (KYC). Because access is vetted, our application collects more than a typical signup. This may include: full legal name, date of birth, country of residence and tax residence, email, phone, role or job title, company name and website, professional background, the digital properties you want to track, your stated use case, expected usage and pack, payment-method preference, and how you heard about us. We use this to verify identity and eligibility (see our AML / KYC Policy).
Account and profile data. Information you maintain in your account, including notification preferences and connected properties.
Support communications. Messages, tickets, and attachments you send us.
2.2 Information collected automatically
Device and usage data (IP address, browser type, pages viewed, actions taken, timestamps), and cookies and similar technologies as described in our Cookie Policy. We may use this for security, fraud prevention, analytics, and to operate the Platform.
2.3 Property and performance data
When you connect a digital property, we collect and process publicly available signals and metrics about that property to generate Performance Scores and insights. You represent that you are authorized to submit each property.
2.4 Payment data
Payments are handled by third-party processors. We do not store full card numbers. We receive limited transaction metadata (such as the last four digits, status, and descriptor) needed to operate billing, refunds, and fraud control.
3. How we use information
We use personal information to:
a. review applications and perform identity and eligibility verification (KYC) and sanctions screening;
b. provide, operate, and improve the Platform, including generating scores, insights, and enhancement fulfillment;
c. process purchases, manage credit balances and access windows, and handle refunds;
d. prevent, detect, and investigate fraud, abuse, and security incidents, and contest chargebacks with appropriate evidence;
e. communicate with you about your account, applications, orders, and support;
f. comply with legal, tax, accounting, and regulatory obligations; and
g. with your consent where required, send product updates.
We use automated tools to assist in scoring, insights, and fraud detection. Onboarding approval decisions involve human review.
4. Legal bases (where applicable)
Where data-protection law requires a legal basis, we rely on: performance of a contract (providing the Platform), legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention, product improvement), legal obligation (KYC, tax, sanctions), and consent (certain cookies and marketing). You may withdraw consent where processing is based on it.
5. How we share information
We share personal information with:
a. Service providers who process data on our behalf — payment processors, cloud hosting, identity-verification and sanctions-screening vendors, analytics, email, and support tools — under contracts limiting their use of the data;
b. Fulfillment operators in our vetted network, limited to the property and order information needed to deliver an enhancement you commission;
c. Authorities and advisors where required by law, to enforce our Terms, to respond to legal process, or to protect rights, safety, and the integrity of the Platform; and
d. A successor in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.
We do not sell personal information for money. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
6. International transfers
We are US-based and may process data in the United States and in countries where our providers operate. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) for cross-border transfers.
7. Data retention
We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide the Platform and for legitimate business and legal purposes. KYC and transaction records are retained for the periods required by applicable AML, tax, and accounting rules even after an account is closed. When no longer needed, data is deleted or anonymized.
8. Security
We use technical and organizational measures appropriate to the risk — including encryption in transit, access controls, and least-privilege practices — to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is fully secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict processing of your personal information, to object to certain processing, and to withdraw consent. Where applicable (for example under CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to know, delete, correct, and to limit certain uses, and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. To exercise rights, contact support@halcera.com. We may need to verify your identity, and certain data (such as KYC and transaction records) may be retained where law permits or requires.
10. Children
The Platform is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn we have, we will delete it.
11. Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies as described in our Cookie Policy.
12. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy and will post the updated version with a new "Last updated" date. Material changes will be communicated to approved users where reasonable.
